The 儿童保育及交通援助 program offers support and assistance to technical students to accomplish their career goals. It 是为了帮助你克服障碍, 比如儿童保育和交通费用, 为了顺利完成你的教育目标. If you are eligible, you will receive monetary assistance for your child care OR 运输费用.

- Must be pursuing a technical certificate or associate of applied science degree ( 认可的证书和学位)
- Must receive a Pell award for the current academic year in which you are applying for funds
- Must be a full-time student to be considered for a full award. 非全日制学生有资格获得部分奖学金. Awards will be based upon the approved Carl Perkins Basic Grant award by THECB for the current academic year.

Fall 2023 awards will not be awarded prior to Sept 15, 2023 due to GC awaiting their budget approval.
学生可随时申请. Assistance awards are determined for the term on the census date of the term attending. Students are notified by email of their award status to their 太阳城娱乐平台 Viking email address, and the award is mailed to the student’s mailing address (as noted on their assistance application).

- Provide the required documentation with your application, including an image of your Pell award for that academic year. (Pell status may be viewed and printed from your MyViking Student Planner. Please provide a screenshot or scanned image of the award amount, 你的名字也出现在同一张图片里吗.)
- 如申请托儿援助, you must fully complete the child care portion of the application and authorize your child care facility to provide verification.
- 如申请托儿援助, please provide a birth certificate for each child you claim in your application.

No, part-time students enrolled in 6 or more hours are eligible for a partial award.

Offers child care assistance to help low-income families pay for childcare so they can go to work, attend an educational program or a vocational training program. The funds used to pay for childcare assistance are federal Child Care and Development Funds from the U.S. 卫生与公众服务部. The Client Services program helps income-eligible households with certain education and employment costs. Assistance is intended as adjunct support for students seeking to gain or improve their employment in order to transition their households out of poverty.
